Grown Up Card and Create and Craft

Good Morning and Welcome.  It's Monday and that means a new challenge at Make My Monday and this week we would like to see a GROWN UP CARD, no cuties this week.
Also, I would like to add that I have two shows on Create and Craft, tomorrow, Tuesday at 11am and 2pm, please join me if you can.

I hope you like my make and will be inspired to play along this week,
Have fun

Recipe

This week's challenge at Make My Monday is a recipe and it certainly was a challenge for me as I knew I wanted to make a man's card, ( I have a few Birthdays this month), however, when it came to 5 Gems I thought I was stumped.  Thank goodness for little tiny grey pearly gems as they are now my gentleman's buttons.

Why not join us this week and see how you get on with the Recipe,

Love is in the Air

Good Morning and Welcome. Thank you for joining me today as I am the hostess of our challenge at Make My Monday this week and my theme is LOVE.
I began by Stamping  and heat embossing the background swirl. Then I dry embossed the card with an embossing folder.

Distress inks in Aged Mahogany and Black
Soot for the background. I used Vintage Photo and Aged Mahogany on the main stamped image.  All the stamps used are Paper Artsy.
A few finishing touches with a Paper Rosette, Dyed Seam Binding, Tattered Lace Heart and a Resin Rose with some wax.

I do hope you will join in with our challenge this week and I look forward to seeing your Love-Ly Creations,

Not a Birthday Card

Good Morning and Welcome.  Our Challenge at Make My Monday this week is ANYTHING BUT A CARD  so I thought I would share the 'Card' I made for the birthday of my friend, Anita.  We rarely make each other an actual card and prefer to make something else.
I decided to make a lavender bag using a Crafty Individuals Stamp and coloured with Derwent Inktense Pencils.

The Back.

This is the 'Envelope' made from a page of one of our favourite catalogues,
I hope you like my project this week and will join in our challenge,
Have a great week,
Rosie x
