Contemporary Christmas, a Heartfelt Thankyou and this week's shows.

Good Morning, welcome and thanks for stopping by.  Firstly a big thank you to those of you who have supported me on last week's TV shows, it is so appreciated.
Our challenge at Make My Monday this week is to produce a project on the theme of Contemporary Christmas.
I do hope you like my attempt and will join in with the challenge this week and pop over and have a look at the other DT makes.
Finally, I wanted to let you know that I will be on Create and Craft this coming Sunday for two hours on Tool Shed and then again at 7pm, please support me if you are able,
Have a good week

Upcoming TV Shows, Apology and Santa

Good morning and welcome.  Firstly, I would like to apologise for my lack of visiting over the last couple of weeks.  I will try and catch up as I love to visit your wonderful and inspirational blogs.

As the title suggests, I have some more TV shows coming up, beginning on Wednesday at 11am on Ideal World, if you could join and support me it would be very much appreciated.

Today's challenge at Make My Monday is Santa and I think this stamp from PaperArtsy is one of my favourites.
The parchment border was made with a Pergamano Multigrid.
Do pop over and look at the wonderful projects and inspiration from the other DT members.
I hope you will share your Santa themed projects with us this week,

Autumn Flowers - Potting Shed

Hello and Welcome.  The challenge this week at Make My Monday is Autumn Flowers and so I thought of Michaelmas Daisies, although I don't seem to have any in the garden this year.

I think the photos say it all on this one.
Do drop by and check out the makes from the rest of the DT and join in with our challenge this week,

Clockwork Lady

This week's challenge at Make My Monday is STEAMPUNK and this has given me a good reason to get out these lovely Graphic 45 stamps again.

The aperture has a layer of stamped acetate behind and the keys were made with Martha Stewart Clay and a Gaze The Moon mould.
I hope you will pop over and check out the other DT projects and be inspired to join in our challenge this week.

I would like to enter this into the Craft Stamper Make It Take It Challenge

Halloween

Good Morning and welcome to our challenge this week at Make My Monday which is Halloween.  Now, as a rule, I don't celebrate Halloween in any shape or form so it was a trifle challenging for me.  However, I had this skeleton stamp in my stash and Number One Son had the skull and crossbones and so here it is.

The background and seam binding was Distress Inks.  I knew I wanted a Spider's Web and didn't have one so made one from Parchment.
The bottle is a Sizzix Die which was glossy accented.
The seam binding for the bottom was stitched on the machine and gathered, whereas the seam binding at the top was stamped.
I hope you like my Halloween creation and will pop over and check out the other DT makes and join in the fun this week,

Collage Card

This card is made using another of my favourite techniques - Collage (love it)

I began by attaching some die cut shapes to watercolour paper and painting the whole thing.

Each of the elements was then painted.

Some gold paint to distress and some stamped script.

Shadows were drawn in pencil and some elements were highlighted with Stickles and Rock Candy Crackle Paint.

Then I just had to create a matted background for my card.

I hope you like it
