Summer Scene from my Window and Bristol Parchment Exhibition

Before I go into today's post, I just wanted to tell you what a fantastic time I had at the Bristol Parchment Exhibition yesterday.
I ran a make and take for Pergamano and met some truly lovely and interesting people.  My sincere thanks to Pat and the rest of the organising team, I shall see you, same time, next year and I highly recommend it to anyone who can go and experience something, possibly entirely different.
Thanks too, to my friend, Anita, for her company and help.
Anyway, onto the challenge at Make My Monday this week which  is to create a summer scene.  Well assuming it is summer, which I am not entirely sure about, this card was based on the scene from the shed window.

This is the view that inspired me.
I used some Creative Expressions stamps on watercolour paper and painted with Distress Inks.
The background mat was distressed and I used Martha Stewart Crafters Clay to make the branch and leaf.
I hope my card will inspire you to have a go at the challenge this week,  I look forward to seeing your wonderful creations,
Rosie x
