Vintage Heart Card with Parchment

Welcome and Happy Monday everyone.  Our challenge at Make My MondayMake  this week is Vintage with Sepia, Cream and Pink or Blue.
The background paper is Graphic 45, I thought it was perfect for this challenge.

The heart was stamped with Versafine Sepia and then coloured with Distress Stains, as was the seam binding and the Parchment Rose.
To create the ruffled heart, I traced around the heart and embossed with a ball tool.  The butterfly was made with the aid of a Pergamano Multi Grid and the swirl was drawn freehand and then embossed and perforated.

I hope you like my Heart Card and feel inspired to enter our challenge,
Rosie x

The Pergamano Lily was stamped onto parchment paper with Stazon and coloured with felt pens on the reverse after embossing.
I hope you will join in with our challenge this week,

Blue Parchment Snowflake Card

Today I would like to show you a Christmas Card.

I began by embossing and perforating the parchment using Pergamano Multi Grids.  This was then lightly coloured with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink.
I cut an aperture with a Nestie, being careful not to cut over my snowflakes.

Some seam binding, inked and stamped.
The background of the card, stamped with text and then the aperture was covered with acetate, stamped with snowflakes.
I hope you like my Christmas Card

Parchment Rose Card for Belinda

Today I thought I would share a card made for the birthday of  my lovely friend, Belinda, because our challenge at Make My Monday this week is Pearls and Swirls.

I stamped the images on parchment paper with Stazon, masking as necessary.  The pictures are slightly different as I have tried various layouts before I could decide on the finished card.

The image was embossed on the reverse with Pergamano tools.
A little shrink plastic embellishment, ribbon bow, some swirls and pearls and a touch of Distress Inks.
I hope you like it

Create a Scene Tag

Our current challenge at Make My Monday is to Create a Scene and as I have never done this on a tag before, I thought I would give it a go.
My background is Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Distress Inks.

I stained some seam binding with the same inks and added a few embellishments.
I look forward to seeing your Scenes this week

Happy Wednesday all.  My desk has been absent the last few weeks of the school holidays and  isn't it tidy - for me anyway?  A little bit of parchment and my Craft Stamper File ( because I am so proud and excited to have my artwork published this month - Page 60).
Do visit the lovely Julia at The Stamping Ground to find out why I am showing my place and maybe you will show yours.

Autumn Create A Scene

This week's challenge at Make My Monday is to Create a Scene.

My scene was inspired by a couple of photos I took when playing with Bowser the Schnauzer in the paddock.  There is actually a hay wagon in the field behind the barn and there were some butterflies still enjoying the Buddleia Bush.

I masked and stamped around the edges of my card, cut out the aperture and coloured with pro markers.

The scene was stamped onto watercolour paper and painted.
I dribbled alcohol inks onto heat resistant acetate and stamped and cut out the butterfly.
I put a layer of acetate between the card and scene to create a bit more depth.
A pretty ribbon and some glossy accents to finish.
I hope you will join in with our challenge this week and, as always, I look forward to seeing your beautiful entries,
Rosie x

Childhood Memories

Our challenge at Make My Monday this week is Childhood Memories and I have made this card with a couple of memories in mind.
My colour scheme is influenced by a story I loved as a girl about a fairy who couldn't decide what colour she wanted her room and kept changing the walls until they disappeared.
Secondly, I had an English Teacher who firmly believed she had fairies living in her garden, and why not.  I would love to think I might have some.

My parchment butterfly was made using a Pergamano Multi Grid and coloured with Versamark and Mica Powders.

My background is painted in some of my favourite colours, particularly green and pink together.
I hope you will pop over and have a look at the other DT makes and join in this week, sharing your childhood memories.
