I have managed a couple of hours away from the sick bed this morning (mainly because my better half has gone to work and I have no one to lavish sympathy and Lemsip alternative cold remedies are available on me any longer).
This is made with a beautiful La Blanche stamp, a Marianne Creatable ~ Bird on a Branch Die and a lovely Anna Griffin rose stamp.
The dragonflies are fusible fibres on film - oh yes, ironing again!
The background was created by stamping with Victorian Velvet and Tattered Rose Distress Inks, followed by Brushed Corduroy,
Beautiful card! Very elegant!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous work! I love all the textured layers and the dragonflies are fabulous! Thanks for the inspiration! =)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, flu-lady, hope you are totally recovered soon, it really takes it out of you. A different remedy my dad used to bring us very hot milk, with a tea spoon of sugar and a very good glug of Navy Rum in it-1) You have to be in bed. 2) Someone has to bring it to you- it doesn't taste the same if you have to do it for yourself! It doesn't cure you but it helps you to sleep, and you feel better in yourself for a while!
