Painted Parchment Tag

Good Morning and thank you for stopping by.
Today I wanted to share a tag I recently made, another sample for my show.

I used my Elegant Stems Stamp collection painted with Tinta Ink on parchment paper.
I love the Lichen on the stone.
Hope you like it

Long Time No See

Apologies for being out of touch for so long, I shall be visiting again soon.  Life seems to have taken over and I have been spending all available moments preparing for Tattered Lace Store Demonstrations and TV Shows.
In the meantime, I thought I would share a picture of one of the demos on today's Create and Craft Show.
The Lavender was traced from my Floral Abundance Stamp Set and painted on Parchment Paper with Tinta inks and then embossed on the reverse.
The dies are Tattered Lace, of course.
Thanks for stopping by,

Beauty of Nature - Parchment / Mixed Media Hanging

Hello and Welcome to my blog, thank you for your visit, I do appreciate it.
Today, whilst making show samples with my stamps I decided to have a play with some different materials to use alongside my parchment and this is what turned out.

The parchment is coloured with Distress Inks using a ripped paper template. before being stamped, embossed and perforated.

The lacy edge is from Pergamano Multigrid 29.  The stamps are my own, I have used Dandelion Delights and Floral Abundance.  The remainder is leftover lace, linen, music paper and bits and pieces that have been lying around.

I hope you like my hanging, thanks for dropping by,

Nature Tag

Good Morning to you and many thanks for dropping by my blog.  Today's tag is for the theme of NATURE which is what we are concentrating on this week at Make My Monday.
For my background, I have used my own Floral Abundance Stamp Set.  A Pergamano Multi Grid No. 17 for the butterfly, along with No.18  for the number detail on the wing.  The greeting is again taken from one of my stamp designs, Little Petals.
I hope you like my natural tag and will join in with the challenge this week,
Have a good week

Good Morning and Happy Bank Holiday Monday, I hope you have something special planned or some time with someone special.
This weeks challenge at Make My Monday is DISTRESS IT!  This is one of my samples for my art shows on Create and Craft this week and it seems to fit the bill.  I do love this sentiment.

Mythical Creatures

Good Morning and Welcome.  It's Monday again and time for a new challenge at Make My Monday.  I have chosen the theme this week as my son loves dragons and all mythical creatures.
This was his recent Birthday Card.  The dragon is stamped onto acetate and coloured with alcohol inks and the screen doors are a tattered lace die.

My apologies for the photography, I hope you get the idea.
As always, I look forward to seeing your wonderful projects,
Have fun,

Spring Tag

Well good morning and welcome and I think maybe we have a little glimpse of Spring this week.  It is my choice of theme at Make My Monday this week and I have chosen SPRING.  As I have two small Tortoiseshell Butterflies overwintering in my house it seemed appropriate to add a little parchment butterfly to my spring themed tag.
I hope you will join in our challenge this week and in the meantime, enjoy Spring.

Recipe

This week's challenge at Make My Monday is a recipe and it certainly was a challenge for me as I knew I wanted to make a man's card, ( I have a few Birthdays this month), however, when it came to 5 Gems I thought I was stumped.  Thank goodness for little tiny grey pearly gems as they are now my gentleman's buttons.

Why not join us this week and see how you get on with the Recipe,

Love is in the Air

Good Morning and Welcome. Thank you for joining me today as I am the hostess of our challenge at Make My Monday this week and my theme is LOVE.
I began by Stamping  and heat embossing the background swirl. Then I dry embossed the card with an embossing folder.

Distress inks in Aged Mahogany and Black
Soot for the background. I used Vintage Photo and Aged Mahogany on the main stamped image.  All the stamps used are Paper Artsy.
A few finishing touches with a Paper Rosette, Dyed Seam Binding, Tattered Lace Heart and a Resin Rose with some wax.

I do hope you will join in with our challenge this week and I look forward to seeing your Love-Ly Creations,

Not a Birthday Card

Good Morning and Welcome.  Our Challenge at Make My Monday this week is ANYTHING BUT A CARD  so I thought I would share the 'Card' I made for the birthday of my friend, Anita.  We rarely make each other an actual card and prefer to make something else.
I decided to make a lavender bag using a Crafty Individuals Stamp and coloured with Derwent Inktense Pencils.

The Back.

This is the 'Envelope' made from a page of one of our favourite catalogues,
I hope you like my project this week and will join in our challenge,
Have a great week,

I do hope you will take a look at the other DT makes and join in the fun this week,
Have a great week,

Good Morning and Welcome this Monday morning.
Our theme over at Make My Monday this week is USE KRAFT CARD and so I decided to paint some flowers onto the Kraft, it really is a lovely card to paint onto.
The side of the card has been embossed and inked.

Hummingbird Card

Good Morning and Welcome.  My choice of theme at Make My Monday this week is BIRDS and when I chose it I was thinking of wintry scenes with Robins and Blue Tits, however, now it is cold and wintry outside, I have decided to go for a tropical style instead.

My background is distress inks as is the seam binding.
I have used a Crafty Individuals stamp for the Hummingbird, which has been stamped and coloured and then stamped again on acetate, and an Indigo Blu stamp and Distress Paint for the swirls.  The dies are Tattered Lace.
I do hope you will join in the challenge this week and, as always, I look forward to seeing your wonderful projects.
Have a great week,

Embossed Swirls on Parchment

Happy New Year to you all and welcome to my first post of 2014.
Laura has chosen the theme at Mmm this week and her chosen subject is embossing.
For my card, I have chosen to use Parchment, this card was for for Mother-in-law's birthday on the first so a very happy, belated Birthday.

I have used Pergamano Multi Grids for the Swirls and Butterflies and  a Tattered Lace Die for the corners.
I hope you will drop in and have a look at the other DT makes and join in with our challenge this week.
